Jamie received her MFA in Directing from the original Actors Studio Drama School and her Masters in Teaching from the University of Richmond. New York directing credits include How Don Draper Saved Christmas & Tribeca Mom at the Royal Theatre, After Evelyn at Theatre Studio Inc., Two Guys and a Girl at Manhattan Theatre Source, workshops and readings of Laura Rohrman’s Reporter Girl, and Samuel French One-Act Festival Finalists Below 14th & Without. London credits include: The Brother at The Lion and Unicorn Theatre, Tick Tock Clock at Theatre503, and Below 14th at The Courtyard Theatre, Kings Cross; as well as directing actor showcases for Debut Productions in London & Manchester.
Jamie discovered she loved writing while helping with her children's elementary school show in 2014, and has been writing ever since. She calls on all her theater skills daily in her role as an educator. Jamie resides in South Orange with her husband, two teenagers, two dogs, and two cats.
